Tiny Camera

This photo demonstrates the limit of the sensor in my Fuji X100F camera.  The ISO is high, at 12,800 and the shutter speed quite slow, at 1/40th, but the scene is recognisable.

Two of us were trying to build the system to live-stream a Mass and we didn't get very far.  The church's PA system introduced distortion and noise to the Røde microphone setup, while using the microphones in the church recorded echoes, of course.  So the result is going to be something of a compromise, but we should be able to get something on the Internet for Christmas.

In other news, we accepted an offer on our house — from a lovely family. But we are now under pressure to find a replacement, so we’ll be whizzing around the West Country for a few days, staying in an AirBnB in Beaminster.
