G’s Nightmare

This is my 92 year old MiL’s lovely hedge. It gives her privacy from the school next door & is a lovely paradise for all ‘her’ birds & wildlife. She phoned tonight, very upset as she heard a commotion outside her garden, and when she went to check, she found the disaster you can see in the extras. 

After stopping the ‘workmen’ - she thinks from the council, she phoned around and was finally put in touch with ‘a very nice man’ who’s going to come and look in the morning. I am so sad for her.
