Funnel web weaver

I had rather boring photo of an admittedly delicious home-made pollock curry (the fish, not the area of Glasgow) lined up for tonight's blipfoto until I spotted this grand little spider when I was walking the dog in the park. I think it is another Amaurobius, which seems to be very common around here. Interesting to see spiders being so active when the air temperature here is only a couple of degrees above freezing!
