The open road

Trying to keep store cupboards stocked over Chrimbo so headed to various locations.  Beautiful day, bike working well so this is a pleasant task. Encountered a friend who said she'd had covid but described having a runny nose which is rarely a symptom but after having antibiotics for chest infection and fatigue is to have an MRI and CATscan soon.
Took Murray for walk after lunch. Soaked dried fruit in orange juice and brandy for choc & fruit puddings to be made tomorrow.  Made cannelloni for tonight and tomorrow's dinner so that I can have time for the puds.
Completed my lockdown read, War & Peace, next Dickens's Martin Chuzzlewit.
