Sooty would love this !

This morning, we drove to the village that NatureWatcher, J and I, were born and brought up in.
  Our local chimney sweep lives in the old Deanery hall, that was our youth club in the'60s and a place where the village residents met for parties, dances, rummage sales, etc, long before we were all born.
   Recently, he's had this sign painted, which I think, brightens the place up.
  The white building, in the foreground, used to be the Red Lion pub; now offices. Very sad to see them close......... three gone and the others aren't that good !
   Pontesbury was a lovely place to grow up in, but I wouldn't consider moving back. Best to leave some memories where they are ?
