Profusion

Another glorious day, with a cliff rather than a beach walk, and west rather than east. And one of Mike's typical "paths" that someone might once have walked along, but it wasn't recently, and including signs saying no access because of danger, but too late, as we'd already walked that bit, and this "looks like it might go", but then again, we might have to go back the way we've come...

It was good to see our little houseboat on the other side of the marina - the blue one inbetween the yellow and red ones - and realize we'd made it.

Went straight past it to the car and drove to Lara's Plaice - for an even more English version of fish and chips, including a massive serving of homemade mushy peas, and a mug of English tea, with "cold milk on the side". As it was 5 o'clock, not sure if it was lunch or dinner, but it was definitely nostalgia on a plate.

Gratefuls:
- living these days in the midst of so much colour
- surviving the walk - any Portuguese seeing this unfit 60+ year old scrambling down the cliffs must have been confirmed in their opinion of the Brits
- watching the fish around our boat, with Julia and Tom on FT, going crazy over the gone off bacon Mike was chucking to them
