Recently I've learnt to play Dear God by XTC.

It's probably a song you've never heard, written by Andy Partridge who is one of the great underrated English songwriters. There's so much going on I could have an argument with my dad [sadly unavailable] about how pop music can be just as clever as anything he used to listen to on the 3rd programme.

It's got a Picady Third, and the best ones are always where you would expect them to be*

Anyway, he wrote it after listening to Rocky Racoon by the Beatles, which you can spot, and the middle 8 is pure Lennon-McCartney-Martin.
