Buffeted

This is a tender visit to a site out east. It is on elevated moorland above the already quite high village of Dalwhinnie.  The view is south towards the entrance to the Drumochter Pass. To some it is a desolate landscape but I like it here. A world famous malt is produced at the villages Distillery of the same name and it is also in view. At this point the it was raining quite heavy, air temp was about 4 deg C and the gusts of wind were strong enough to make you adjust your footing for stability.
On return to the pickup after the walk around I had a change of footwear and socks to step in to and a cup of coffee from Am Bioran's flask.
