Santa

I stood there for a while trying to get a decent photo of Santa and it just didn't happen. Too much movement, parents all over the place. This was at the farmers market. They had a 2nd chair near Santa for the children to sit in.

What a strange time this is... It's become so apparent that people are out of work, neighborhood theft has gone up, I see ads of parents looking to help so they can buys kids gifts for under the tree.

And I find myself grateful we are still having a cold snap that requires a warm coat, scarf, hat and gloves in the early morning. I have not forgotten the hot and very smoky days we had this last summer. Today there is a high air pollution warning so no fireplaces allowed.
