Christmas cancelled

It has been a day of bad news! Mollie’s weekend with her mum, and another family member in the the house tested positive for COVID. They all tested (A works for the NHS and they have the 30 minute tests in the house) and the only person to test positive was Mollie. She was devastated, Christmas plans between parents and us sent awry, and she has had to return to James (thankfully) as another family member in the house is clinically vulnerable. 

We were just getting our heads round how to get their presents and a Christmas dinner to them, when Boris declared Christmas is cancelled for all in the south east. Lockdown from midnight, no travel, non essential shops to close etc etc. This also means Daniel will be on his own and Liam and Sarah have to sort their own Boxing Day. What a mess, because I have a 15lb turkey, ham, beef etc plus all the extra things you need to do Christmas for 8. Mr L and I will be eating it until February! James now has to isolate, so not sure if they will eat at all!
