Life through the lens...

Christmas mouse

When I saw this little fella, I immediately thought of the rhyme
“ T’was the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.”

We had a lovely walk through Judy Woods and round Norwood Green this morning.
Mostly sunshine, but only 6C.
More cars than we have seen before, but we only met a few people.

Just after we got home our eldest grandson R and partner called and we were able to exchange Christmas presents, including a beautiful bouquet of white roses for me.
( A future blip)
It’s the first time we have seen them since they told us K was expecting a baby next year.
She has started to get a bit of a tummy, and was blooming. So lovely to see them both and have a chat. At a distance!
Hopefully it won’t be long before we can go and see the new house, and the nursery.

A great end to Strictly last night. Well done Bill.
What a gentleman. He put his heart and soul into those dances. They all did very well.
What will we have to brighten up the weekend now!

Stay safe everyone. And keep smiling.
So sorry for those of you who have had your Christmas family get togethers cancelled.
Unfortunately Covid 19 doesn’t have a break for Christmas.
