Sunday Elf

Today I was out and about delivering some Christmas hampers full of local goodies which were well received. It was lovely to see people (socially distanced of course) that I've not seen for months as well as a few new residents who have recently moved to the area & haven't had a chance to socialise within the community. I hope it provided a distraction and a bit of cheer after yesterdays  lockdown restrictions were announced.
These gates can be seen from the West Road and were the entrance to Glendaruel House which was destroyed by fire fifty years ago. I also discovered (but failed to photograph) a gorgeous wee chapel which was part of the estate which I'll definitely return to soon. The extra was taken at the head of the loch on my way home as the light was fading.
Thanks to Marlieske for hosting the Derelict Sunday challenge.
