Life in a Scotch sitting room

It was my birthday, but felt quite unlike celebrating anything. Dave bought me a lovely vase and some flowers to put in it - it will doubtless feature in a future blip. Then met Malc and Syuze in the car park on our way to the market and they gave me another lovely vase! We have been chronically short of vessels to put flowers in for years, so both very welcome.

Later we listened to the FM's statement re the pandemic. Made a lot more sense than the PM's which preceded it. No real impact on our plans as we didn't really have any.

Listened to Ivor Cutler which I think gave us both our first genuine laughs of the day. 'Scotland gets its brains from the herring.....'
