Boardgame for 2020

One effect of making the staircase Chaiyya-friendly is that she can now come up to my bedroom whenever she wants.

And last night she wanted to a lot.  She bounced on the bed.  She bounced on me.  She pounced on me.  She was absolutely bonkers until about 5 a.m.

It's not easy to get to sleep when a kitten is in perma-kitty mode.

Needed under the quilt.  Needed to bite my leg.  Needed in the wardrobe.  Needed all the wardrobe doors open.  Needed behind the wardrobe.  Needed, needed, needed...  I couldn't keep awake, I had to work today.

As it was I started work nearly 3 hours later than I normally like to.  And that meant I had to work a lot later than I like to.  Not a fan of 9 to 5.  I like 6 until 2 but kittens make that impossible.

And at 5 it's so flipping dark, it's emergency Blip time.

This is a boardgame - somewhat fitting for 2020 - the players have to work together to defeat a pandemic.  They fail and the virus wins.  You win nothing playing on your own (there are no bleach injections or strong light therapies or herd immunities or a tangerine <very bad word> in the US who thinks he is a genius).  It's a co-operative game.  Much needed.
