Isolation

Today I made my final pre Christmas trip to the supermarket. With the world isolated and cut off from Britain by the virus mutation I thought panic buying might set in. Consequently I set off fairly early. There was no queue when I arrived though the shop seemed quite busy. They were still controlling numbers but it looked busier than usual. When I came out there was a long queue such as I have not seen since late March early April.

After dropping off the shopping I went over to Fittie. It seems there was some blue sky, and occasionally even some sunshine. Nevertheless this corner of the village looks a bit gloomy.

Wrapped some presents in the afternoon, so I suppose I am as ready for Christmas as I am going to be.
