Christmas Star

On December 21, 2020, a rare event will occur in the night sky… And it has not been seen in over eight centuries. On this date, Jupiter and Saturn, the two largest planets in our solar system will conjunct to form what’s sometimes referred to as the “Christmas Star” or the “Star of Bethlehem.”  Not a great shot but I wanted to make a note in my journal of the event. My sister and brother-in-law came over to have a better view. It was cold and windy but we enjoyed the sight and time spent together.
I opened Santa's workshop ( see extras) and made 5 gnomes to give as gifts today. I had a blast making them and hope they will bring a little Christmas cheer to the recipients. They sure were great company today.
