Sunset in the Maldives

We are quarantining on Bandos Island. Spent a very relaxing day doing nothing. Cocktails and a sunset at Sunset Bar. The Christmas tree was made from coconuts.
Have been very impressed with all the Covid measures put in place.  Feel very safe.  Mask to be worn in reception area and all closed spaces. Temps taken daily. Buffet meals but have servers who dish up for you and you have to wear your mask while collecting your food.

Bahrain starts Covid-19 vaccine registration for citizens, residents

The first Covid-19 vaccines landed on Canadian soil on Sunday,
The country has had 460,743 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 5,891 new infections
The virus has claimed 13,431 lives in Canada, including 81 on Saturday.

Singapore approves Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine in Asia first.
Only 29 people have died from the disease in Singapore.

Worldwide, more than 70 million people have been infected with the virus, with 1.61 million deaths,
