With this ring

Forty seven years ago today this tiny ring was on my finger at noon. Growing old together has been a journey for sure. The ring barely fits on my little finger so mostly it sits in the little box I have for it.

The ring is resting on a Bible and a cross bookmark given to me by my mom’s younger sister Betty. I carried the Bible at my wedding with a few flowers on it. There is a photo somewhere.


Baked two kinds of cookies today. My Christmas menu is planned and groceries bought.

Guess what I got from the hubby for my anniversary...he paid the $900 car repair bill that keeps my car on the road. I love that man!
