The seasoning

My sister gave me this cookbook around 1983. She knew that one of the things I missed when I moved to Australia was Marks and Spencer. (They dropped the St Michael brand in 1999.)
 
As you can see, the cookbook has been well used. The pages are loose, and spattered with past ingredients. The most used recipe is the one for bacon and corn stuffing. We make it almost every Christmas, and it’s known in our house as ‘the seasoning’.
