Picasso

This is the stairwell of The Courtauld Gallery, which is part of Somerset House, sitting between the river and Strand in London. It is a wonderful spot and is currently hosting the Picasso exhibition. I do not claim to be knowledgeable or particularly enthusiastic about his work, but this exhibition has garnered such great reviews that I popped over there this afternoon to see what the fuss was about. It is a small but great exhibition of his paintings from 1901 only, which I am reliably informed was a pivotal year. A fiver well spent!
