Hanging

At this time of year, when the sun is low, if the weather's good it shines through the living room window for a very short time in the morning. This morning it caught the festive tea-light holders hanging in the window. This month it's been so dark and dismal that it's been a rare occurrence, so I dashed to fetch the camera...
The lit tea lights give a nicely festive glow in the evenings.

Unfortunately, no chance to take advantage of the slightly better weather. So many parcels were due to arrive today that I put up a list of what we should receive, from whom, with a rough time of arrival! A supermarket delivery came this afternoon, too. Such is life during the Covid festive season! Armed with my camera, MrM went out briefly in another attempt to see Jupiter and Saturn but, once again, the sky was covered by cloud. I was still waiting for deliveries.

Thousands of lorries are stuck on the roads and in lorry parks around the Channel ports until restrictions are lifted and they can continue their journeys. So sorry for the lorry drivers, stranded with no proper facilities, food or water, with no idea when they'll be able to get home...
