Today was the day

Been dreading today. Entering a public building for the first time in months for Mr B‘s citizenship appointment today. Held in the library, in the Triangle (Bournemouth Central). Had tossed with the idea of cancelling, seeing Covid figures escalating around us.

We wore FFP3 Masks (forgot I had them), and face shields. We looked like something from out of space, but hey ho who cares.

Walking there and back we wore the masks I blipped yesterday. 3 layers, very comfortable and but breathing harder.

All went well. The library was pretty empty, and the meeting office had a perspex screen screen up. Very helpful and polite young lady said all the documents I’d uploaded were fine. She took Mr B’s fingerprints and a photo. In and out in 15 mns. The forecast weather warnings didn’t affect us at all.

Passed Horseshoe Common on the way back up where I snapped these trees for the Wide Wednesday challenge.
