The Holly and The Ivy

One of my favourite Christmas decorations. Love, love, love the simplicity of the holly and the ivy on our hall light. Only did it last year for the first time but a firm, firm favourite and using greenery will always be part of my decorations if I can at all lay my hands on it.

Note to self, don't let husband get gardener in two weeks before xmas who then cuts everything back and clears all the cuttings. These were the whole selection of greenery this year. A bit heart broken but it will grown back and the garden does look very tidy and ready for spring.
