Christmas Eve

It's going to be a quiet Christmas Day, the first year in many when it's just Ann and I for lunch.  In preparation I spent this morning  making a curry for our non-traditional Christmas dinner tomorrow.

To make up for not being able to see the family Emma, Andy and Tom came visiting this afternoon.   It was lovely to see them and exchange presents, albeit on the drive in front of the house.  We then all went for a walk, with Luna who'd also come out for the ride, the weather being a lot nicer than yesterday,  bright and crisp.

So we had a good walk and chat before they left for home and we settled down with the log fire and fresh coffee.

The theme for today's Abstract Thursday hosted by Ingeborg is Festive Lights.  On taking a close up of one of the lights strung along our front window I was surprised to see a face, so I tried another and lo and behold, there was a different face.  Who'd have thought it?

So Merry Christmas to all, and I hope 2021 is a much better year for everyone.
