I had good news about my kittens - they should be ready to come to me mid-January - so that made everything seem better. And I'm glad that a Brexit deal was agreed. I’m sorry for those who have been disadvantaged but I think it must be better to have an imperfect deal than none at all. Of course we never should have left, but it’s too late for that now.

I made brandy butter for tomorrow and wrote most of my remaining Christmas cards and took them to the post box. They won't arrive until after Christmas of course, but hopefully people won't mind too much. I've saved a few where I really want to write a bit more than could just be said on a card.
