Last time for a while

I walk over this bridge on my way to work. Today was the my last working day for a while. No one knows if the cafe will be able to open again on January 18th, or whether the lockdown will be extended. I had just got back into the routines of work, as well..

Anyway, I enjoyed my day; there was a nice atmosphere and the time went by quickly. Soon I was driving home, watching the beautiful sunset and listening to the Nine Lessons and carols from Kings College Cambridge. It was great to be able to sing along.

I just had a lovely surprise when Joanna knocked on the door and handed over a beautifully wrapped cake.
