A fine sunny day to treat the nippers to brunch along at the OCP. The staff, who almost outnumbered the customers, were all getting readied for their Christmas shindig.
And much later, after dropping presents off at the daughter’s, we had a little outdoor Christmas carol service in Wardie Square. I say carols but it was mostly Brenda Lee and Shaking Stevens, courtesy of our very own Liz, who sounds like she was no stranger to the Port of Leith in its heyday.
Later, Midnight Sky, Clooney’s latest. Having read the reviews and expected very little, it was more than acceptable Christmas fare. Time for Santa!
