Thursday: Frozen Leaves

We had very vague plans to go out for a walk along the Seawall today but, given our very long walk yesterday, and the fact that every man and his dog would have probably have had the same idea, we decided against.  To be honest, it didn’t take a lot of persuading.

Instead, we spent the day getting the house to a Christmas ready state.  As you can see, it was all pretty frosty and chilly.

This evening didn’t pan out quite the way we expected. K. slipped on something in the kitchen and gave her head a bit of a smack.  She has quite the egg-size lump - I was all for taking her to the emergency room but she wasn’t keen.  Instead, it’s a very early night for her and we’ll see how she is in the morning.  I’ll have some toast and will check on her periodically.
