Old Man Of Mow

Looks like he's still got it to me! This rather fallic looking rock is the Old Man of Mow at Mow Cop in the Gritstone Trail. Tis' a pillar of rock left behind by some jocular quarry men. Me, Mrs Wild and No 2 son took off down to Cheshire for a walk on the Gritstone Trail and along the Maccesfield Canal. Biting cold with a good deal of snow showers. Finished off by visiting Rode Hall to view the snowdrops and tea and cake in the quaint Parish Church.
