Life after Burradoo, NSW

A lovely Christmas

A lovely day with Tom and Les. They arrived bedecked with Santa hats and tinsel, all of which ended up on poor St Francis. We had set up two table settings - one in the courtyard and one in the small 'refectory' which opens on to the courtyard. We had hoped to stay outdoors all day but it began to drizzle about 1.30pm so we moved inside (see extra). We left the large glass sliding doors open so that we had good ventilation.

I can't remember a chillier Christmas Day - max 17 degrees, but we didn't mind. Gas log fire will go on again tonight.

The people in Sydney's Northern Beaches are doing a great job and there were only seven new cases with a record 60,000 tests. Onya Aussies!
