IT STARTED HERE...

Actually that's not correct - it started with foie gras, toast & sweet white wine. That was followed by Potage Germiny which I provided. It needs lots of sorrel, fresh cream, egg yolks & stock.

Then came this enormous capon cooked to perfection with garlic, onions, carrots & chestnuts. Mashed potatoes & a wicked red Cahors. Mmm!

We were in our extra "bubble" - left to right Manu who brought the dessert, CC & Sophie being hugged by her son Mateo. The second extra's a study in turquoise - Sophie's mantlepiece display.

So we (CC) solved all the worlds problems & I came home with a ten year old Ardbeg!
