Allerton Bywater

After the joys of yesterday, I needed to get out, so went for a walk from Allerton Bywater to Castleford and back along the canal. Unfortunately I couldn't persuade any of the kids to come with me. 

This was the last shot I took. I was just back in Allerton Bywater, and came across this, which was completely unexpected. 

I hope you all had a great Christmas, even if it was not what you had hoped to do. My kids managed to completely floor me with their gifts this year - I feel very loved. And my youngest tidied my office for me today.
