Wolf

This dog is well known to the many dog owners in Erkheim who go for a walk above the town and past an isolated farm standing 50 metres from the road. It comes dashing out across the fields to within a few meters but then stops. Even after years of this event, I find it very unnerving.

But one must say that as long as nothing happens, I'm much happier to see the dog run free than the situation one used to see lots of at farms - dog tied to a long line with a hut where it was chained up 24/7/365.
