The Day After

We always hang wreathes on our external doors. This year we were very late. I blame the adverse weather conditions.

Although our weather was nothing like the dreadful conditions further South.

We spent the day being in touch with friends and relatives around the globe, and also feasting.

Pat had made Figgie Pudding.

Our day was tinged with sadness when we received a message from FM telling us that he has Covid-19 and in a bad way.

FM is one of our many "sons and daughters" we have been host families for over the last 32 years.

FM was doing his duty helping people. We know of several friends and relatives who have been infected. All of them are in the caring professions.

The extras show the "visitor entrance" with the humorous wreath and our very quite road.
