Clare & I meet up regularly and we usually end up shopping, playing bingo or having lunch. Now whilst there's nothing wrong with those activities sometimes it's nice to do something different. So today we tried out hands at encaustic art at Crafty Club in Solihull.

The craft involves melting coloured waxes on an iron, gliding it across a sheet of paper or card then moving the iron to remelt the wax creating different patterns. We both came away with some pieces we were pleased with and we may have a try again another time.
