Last day

Our last day was hijacked by rain. We were so lucky with the weather though. Had 6 perfect days.
What an awesome holiday we had quarantined on this beautiful little island.  We were so well looked after and felt so safe here.

Corona Virus update
Bahrain recorded 220 new cases, 0 fatalities and 153 recoveries today.
Individuals vaccinated = 19,571

90,282 cases have been recorded in the sandpit.
Bahrain has  1,602 active cases,  32 are receiving treatment,  12 critical  cases.   349 deaths recorded.   88,331 recoveries.  Total tests done is  2,262,042

Britain’s European neighbours began closing their doors to travellers from the United Kingdom yesterday amid alarm about a rapidly spreading strain of coronavirus that has caused cases to soar there.
Germany, Italy and the Netherlands ordered a suspension of flights from Britain, while Ireland said it would impose restrictions on flights and ferries from its neighbour.

Belgium said it would close its borders to flights and trains

France said it would bar all people coming from the UK for 48 hours from last night,

The number of coronavirus cases in Britain surged by 35,928 yesterday, the highest daily rise since the start of the pandemic, and it recorded 326 deaths, taking the official toll to more than 67,000.
