I said yesterday we are now in tier 4 but in Scotland it is level 4, it is all a bit confusing.  A quick walk to look around the town centre of Dumfries was grim really and not just because there was a brief flurry of sleet.  There was a slightly daft situation going on though down at the river side.  A set of traffic lights were busily turning themselves on and off repeatedly for pedestrians even though no one was touching the buttons, so hopefully someone will sort it.
