Hadstock walk

We tried a different walk this morning in the next village.  The mud levels weren't any better but the sun was shining and it's been a lovely day.

As we move through the holiday I seem to see less and less of the children as our body clocks don't seem to operate in the same time zone.  James seems to emerge bleary-eyed from his room just as I'm fancying a post lunch afternoon snooze...  (Though he assures me he can get up in time for a normal working day when he needs to).

In a normal year after a busy Christmas we would now be zipping around Scotland visiting Martin's side of the family, so another quiet day of jigsaw making in Linton is feeling a little unsettling rather than relaxing.

Luckily I have something to do tomorrow - phew.
