craigie's farm

Picked up Laura and Samuel around lunchtime and headed to Shandon to bring Don with us to Craigie's Farm.

Samuel and Laura had some soup, Don had some lunch and I had a coffee (I'd just eaten breakfast(!) at Laura's).

We had a wander around afterwards and saw some cool pigs. The wee ones were very cute and the big momma was MASSIVE.

We walked about where the polytunnels are and took in the gorgeous view - you can see Cramond, Arthur's Seat, the Pentlands...a real panorama.

Back to Laura's with some sausages for tea, eaten with sweet potato mash and gravy. Delicious.

Laura and I also tried to make macaroons - they didn't turn out too badly, but I really don't think they're worth all the fuss.
