Never Ending

Without a good sharp frost the autumn leaf fall is going on & on & on. With hundred + trees on the property, it's keeping us, Angie in particular, very busy. Naturally most of it is done with the garden tractor.

We can't burn leaves or any other garden matter by law, nor does it make sense but tend to dump it all here on the edge of a horse field alongside the road. Perhaps one day it may be tall enough to be a sound barrier. Also, now in the habit of leaving piles in selected places just in case the odd hedgehog needs a home. We usually see the odd one somewhere on the property during the year. We have so many open outbuildings and wood stacks that there is plenty of choice.
