Burned out

The kids had told me about this a few weeks ago and thought I would walk down to the end of the street and see the remains of a fire set by kids.  Amazingly some of the plants are coming back to life.   I checked a few of the barrel cacti and saw new growth on them.   It appears that even though the desert looks to be Derelict, it often comes back to life with a bit of water.      This is my entry for Derelict Sunday -  which I don't enter very often.   A nice day and looking forward to some rain on Tuesday!       Thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
