A Familiar's Shadow

It's a very rare event to catch the shadow of someone's familiar. A random photo on a dog walk and there it was: Roam's duck. He's not entirely happy that his personal power animal should be a duck but you have to make the most of what you get given in life. It could be worse ... I suppose.

Any other explanations would be more than welcome. It has me stumped.
