Stairway to North Pole

Village carpenters who specialise in wood doors, stairs & balustrades, always do a bit of a display in their showrooms. I should have taken a wide angle to include the other side with a newish BMW motorbike on display. No idea what the connection is, suspect there isn't any as it has been in the window most of the year.
