Mono Monday - Mono-GREEN

The challenge theme: "Your idea of an ecological world".
In my ecological world we should not buy new things all the time (I know, I'm a sinner, too...). However, there are occasions when many of us are naturally "ecological" by using old gadgets which we wouldn't like to be  without... I love these Christmas elves, handmade on the 1960's. Isn't it ecological to pick them up every Christmas instead of buying new modern ones?
