Family occasion

I was making a quick visit back to Hiroshima for the weekend to attend a (family only) one year anniversary Buddist ceremony after my other grandpa has passed away.
My understanding is that these cermonies are done every anniversary for rememberance until the 50th anniversary.
Most people are not really that much strict in terms of religion, however these customs do remain as part of the family occasions in many homes.

Anyway, it's a nice occasion for family/relatives to gather and catch up with each other. So that's what is kind of going on here.

Unfortunately, this was all I could in this very short stay throughout the weekend.
Now heading back to Tokyo to get back to work tomorrow. Another 4 hour high speed train ride...
