The Bell Inn

This is reputedly the oldest Licensed (1042) pub in England. Formerly Tingdene House, the Bell Inn, Finedon, is well known throughout the county and beyond. A figure of Queen Edith is in the middle of the facade. Above the third floor window are stone carved heads of Queen Edith and her husband Edward the Confessor.
