Amaryllis

My birthday amaryllis bulb had been growing fast before Christmas, and a flower bud had started to appear. So much so, that I anticipated it would bloom over the holiday period. As I was spending Christmas with Mum in our support bubble, I would most likely miss it, so carefully transported it home.

Sure enough, today the first full bloom appeared, just in time for a close-up shot for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge.
