Creepy creepy crawly

My neighbour found this millipede in her bathroom--stretched out it measured about 10 cms!
Not the prettiest, but I guess it has its part in nature!!
Another quiet day today.. my usual early morning walk along the cliff top and down to the rockpools with Coda, some housework and gardening. 
After a long chat with daughter P in New York, we've decided it's not safe for her to visit in February as she was hoping to do. She was originally hoping to come for Christmas, then her birthday next month.. she keeps changing, but we will just leave it now until things are more stable.
So many disappointments this year..
