Frost and Flood

A day of contrasts. Waking to fast falling snow in Derbyshire. So no rush, and it was lovely to get out for a morning walk in it. Then once it was sufficiently safely thawed a couple of hours drive home. Back to independent living! And the Nene floods. So after I’d unloaded and sorted out a bit I headed off for a stroll down to the river. Glad I remembered to don wellies (see extra of the boardwalk under water). And it was a beautiful sunset too.
