The old oak tree.

Well i dont thik i will tie a yellow ribbon around it! I went for a long walk on my own to gather my thoughts at the end of a tumultuous year. The ground across this field was watelogged and as one dog walker i met stated " more like wading than walking" . Despite this i enjoyed being out and took a few pictures along the way. This being my favourite.
On my homeward journey i found myself walking along a path near to where my son and his fiancee live with their puppy so i called in to say hi, sadly no hugs in this separated tier 4 existance.
Grateful today for time to walk and pray, for the wonder of ancient oak trees ahd for surprising my son with my impromptu visit.
